Jackson Hole

Last weekend I got to go to Jackson Hole with my mom. We also went with a friend and her daughter. So we had a little mommy/daughter weekend and it was a blast! We went to Grand Teton National Park, took a "cruise" on Jenny Lake, and floated down the Snake river. Lets not forget all the shopping we got to do in Jackson Hole. It was really fun but it was nice to come back home to Zack and Claire.

Slacking!

Sorry I have been slacking on posting on my blog. I have had a lot of things going lately with fixing up the house and getting a new job. I was also waiting to get some pics of the house to post so everyone can see what we are doing. Pretty much we gutted the whole house and are slowly puting it back together. It is a lot of work but it will be worth it in the end. At least that is what we keep telling ourselves. Zack and his dad have worked so hard and spent so much time up at the house! We are so grateful for the help of family! Thanks to everyone who has helped so far!















This first pic is of our dining room. The wall is torn off thanks to the wood paneling that was placed there to cover up a door that went from the dining room into the master bathroom. Interesting I know. The 2x4's on the floor are where we are going to build a space for our fridge to fit into so we have more room in the kitchen.
















This is the finished product! Well, mostly finished. It is a little hard to see but the wall is sheetrocked and the fridge cubby is framed and sheetrocked as well! It looks even better in person!

Here is a picture of the master bathroom all torn apart. We are puting a shower in there since there was only a toilet and vanity there when we purchased the house. We are moving the wall back to make room for the vanity and moving the toilet over. Thank goodness we have a plumber in the family!

I hope this makes sense to those who havn't seen the house! We just got new windows last week and we will start tiling this week so I will be sure to take pics and post. Once we get the pics from the wedding I will post those as well so you can see the fam!
